High school photojournalism brought the camera to me but chemistry brought me into the darkroom. There, a passion was born. What started out as a scientific love has turned into an artistic journey. I began taking pictures solely so that I could rush back to the darkroom to watch the images magically appear. As I ventured into the streets, the adventure began. I realized that, through my lens, I was able to enter the world of another person, if only for a second. In that moment, I was able to frame the event through my eyes.

The beauty of taking candid pictures is that there is always a new image; if I wait an extra minute before snapping the picture, it is a different picture, not inherently better or worse, but simply something new. I am now moving into the realm of color and I am experimenting with the interrelation of my candid style of photography, elements of color theory and compositional style.

Ten years later, I am interested in expanding my photographic presence.
So keep an eye out...if not for my photos...then for my camera.

I am from Parsippany, NJ. I currently live in Somerville, MA.
